California Western School of Law has acquired a 15,000-square-foot parcel in downtown San Diego for $5.6 million with plans for future campus expansion.
The property, used as a parking lot, is located at the corner of 2nd Avenue and Cedar Street. It is adjacent to California Western’s current campus and will allow for future, contiguous expansion of classrooms and office space.
“This property is located between three of California Western’s existing buildings, which created a unique opportunity to secure future expansion capabilities and provide additional parking in the interim,” said Victor Krebs, senior vice president at Colliers International.
“The property was timely acquisition by California Western as it had been owned by the same private family since the 1960s,” Krebs added.
Colliers International, a global real estate services firm, represented the seller, Central Auto Parks LLC.
