San Diego real estate consulting firm Hughes Marino was ranked third nationally among medium-sized companies in Entrepreneur magazine‘s list of the top corporate cultures.
The ranking in the magazine’s March issue included 153 companies in small, medium and large classifications that exemplify “the best office cultures in America.” It’s the second year in a row that Hughes Marino has made the list.
“We are thrilled that Hughes Marino has been recognized on Entrepreneur’s prestigious list for two years in a row. It is truly a testament to our incredible team, and the intentional effort we have made to nurture and protect our cherished company culture,” said Shay Hughes, COO and owner.
“Our emphasis on building strong relationships, trust, and embracing the family spirit comes straight from our core values, which are the root of our success as a company,” she added.
The list was determined using methodology from software developer CultureIQ for measuring high-performance cultures and included a employee survey.
“Great company cultures don’t happen on their own. They’re the result of great leadership, and a conscious effort to make everyone on a team feel engaged and important,” said Jason Feifer, editor in chief of Entrepreneur. “The honorees on our 2017 list are proof that strong cultures make even stronger companies. Entrepreneurs at all levels can draw inspiration from them.”
