A 612-unit apartment complex in the Civita community in Mission Valley has won nine architectural awards over the course of 2016.

West Park at Civita, designed by Los Angeles-based Newman Garrison + Partners received nine Gold Nugget and San Diego Icon awards.

The development features rental units ranging from 546 to 1,355 square feet with extensive recreational amenities in a park-like setting.

“With West Park, we have established the new benchmark for luxury apartment living in the San Diego region,” said Marco Sessa, senior vice president at developer Sudberry Properties. “The quality and breadth of amenities at West Park is unsurpassed in this market.”

Amenities in the new development include a private park with half-mile jogging trail, media screen room, salt water pools, roof-deck lounges, electric car-chargers and a dog washing station.
