An Escondido-based firm will share in a $9 million contract with the Army Corps of Engineers, the Department of Defense has announced.

Value Management Strategies Inc. of Escondido and Strategic Value Solutions Inc. of Independence, Mo. will provide architectural and engineering management services, according to the government.

The five-year contract was issued for work for the Army Corps’ Baltimore District Military, Environmental and Civil Works programs in the North Atlantic Division.

According to the Palisade Corporation, Value Management “is a management consulting firm specializing in value analysis, value engineering and risk management for organizations in both the public and private sectors.”
