Little Italy is ready to host its “Taste of …” event next week and tickets are going fast as everyone rushes to enjoy the privilege of so many re-openings.

Tickets, costing $55, remain for the early “Taste of Little Italy” slots from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, but evening admission is sold out.

Organizers stretched the event out to two days, with different time slots, to minimize congestion and allow room for distancing.

“Taste Passports” will be provided to ticket holders as a guide, listing all participating restaurants and menu offerings in the 48 square blocks of Little Italy.

Participants differ each day, but restaurants on the schedule include Allegro, Ballast Point, Bencotto, Civico 1845, Craft & Commerce, Filippi’s Pizza Grotto, Isola Pizza Bar, Mikkeller Brewing, Petrini’s, Puerto La Boca and more.

Check-in at the Piazza della Famiglia at Date and India streets to obtain the passport before heading off to sample the goods.

There also will be music, at the Piazza della Famiglia, where Marissa Grace performs from
from 5–7 p.m. both nights. At the Piazza Basilone, off Fir and India streets, Marauak performs from 4-8 p.m. both nights.

Masks will not be mandatory, though organizers recommend wearing one when not eating, if not fully vaccinated.
