Startup San Diego’s 5th annual Convergence program for entrepreneurs kicks off Wednesday evening at the new Comic-Con Museum.

The three-day event features panels, demos, workshops, a career fair, a pitch competition, mentor sessions and the popular pub crawl through downtown startups.

“Building a strong network is one of the biggest determinants of success or failure in entrepreneurship,” said Felena Hanson, a board member of Startup San Diego. “Convergence is the perfect event for entrepreneurs at every level, to build new connections and find needed support.”

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Comic-Con museum, which is located in the former Hall of Champions at 2131 Pan American Plaza in Balboa Park.

“Between learning how to land a job at your favorite startup, build your idea, and pitch effectively,
Convergence is jam-packed with opportunities for everyone to learn, share, and get connected,” according to event organizers.

Tickets and a detailed scheduled are available online.
