CityMark Development has begun construction of 21 urban townhomes located on Bankers Hill near Balboa Park and priced from the $700,000s.
The XPO development — its name a nod to the 1915 Panama-California Exposition — is expected to open in the summer. The homes are located at at 6th Avenue and Hawthorn Street on the edge of the park.
“These homes will reflect Balboa Park’s spirit of innovation, community and modern thinking,” says Russ Haley, vice president of CityMark. “Residents will have the park’s many walking paths and natural features as their backyard and residents’ private view decks will provide an elevated view of the park’s majesty.”
The two-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath townhomes will range from 1,215 to 1,740 square feet on two or three levels. Residents will have private garage parking with direct residence access.
CityMark is a San Diego-based homebuilding firm that has constructed more than 1,000 residences from single-family homes to mid-high rise condominiums, lofts and row homes.
