The Greater San Diego Association of Realtors will host a free in-person workshop, “The Pathway to Homeownership,” from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Aug. 23, at the East San Diego Masonic Lodge, 7849 Tommy Dr., San Diego.
The event will cover key steps to buying a home, with industry experts sharing tools, tips, and resources. Speakers include Chris Anderson, SDAR president, on why to use a realtor; Wayne Woodward on fair housing; Scott Vinson II on the home buying process; Carrie Tapia from the San Diego Housing Commission on down payment and closing-cost assistance; and Derek Barksdale of Military Mutual on the loan process.
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect with professionals, ask questions, and enjoy light refreshments and a continental breakfast.
