The UC San Diego women’s basketball team dropped its fourth straight game Sunday, falling to Fresno State at home 65-53 Sunday.

The Tritons faced a double-digit deficit after the end of the first quarter, one that saw the Bulldogs pull away to a 18-6 lead after being tied at 6-6 early on. The final three quarters were much closer between the two teams, but the early lead proved to be enough for Fresno State.

Sabrina Ma scored 22 points to lead the Tritons and also collected five rebounds in the loss. Kayanna Spriggs added 16 points. Ma was the first Triton to score more than 20 points this season.

After a win in their opener against Occidental, the Tritons have failed to find the win column since their season-opening win against Occidental. The Bulldogs won their third game in a row, with two of the three wins being double-digit victories.

UCSD now hits the road for two games, traveling to play Air Force on November 22, followed by a game at Denver on November 24.
