The San Diego Yacht Club won its fourth straight Sir Thomas Lipton Cup Challenge, holding onto first place even without a strong final day.
Club de Yates de Acapulco and Balboa YC won the final two races of the tournament, but San Diego YC stayed on top due to a strong overall tournament. San Diego finished first overall, with New York YC and Newport Harbor YC finishing in second and third place overall.
San Diego skipper Jake La Dow won in his first year at the helm. La Dow had previously been a crew member for San Diego.
