Identity service CLEAR said Wednesday it is now offering enrollment in TSA PreCheck at San Diego International Airport.
The Transportation Security Administration has been expanding ways to enroll in PreCheck, which allows passengers to go through security while wearing shoes, belts and light jackets, and with electronics and liquids stored in bags.
CLEAR, which also offers expedited airport security service that uses biometrics to verify your identity, now has PreCheck enrollment at 13 airports.
“TSA PreCheck with enrollment by CLEAR provides a fast and efficient airport experience,” said CLEAR CEO Caryn Seidman-Becker. “This is a win-win for U.S. travelers who will have access to more enrollment locations, expanded hours and other benefits.”
CLEAR’s expedited airport security service, which costs extra, works with PreCheck to take travelers directly to the front of the screening line.
