Investigators Sunday were trying to determine what caused a luxury SUV to burn in Chula Vista, a city fire department official said.
Just after 9:30 a.m. crews responded to the 600 block of J Street in response to a Land Rover on fire in a parking lot, said Chris Manroe, the Chula Vista fire battalion chief.
The flames damaged another nearby vehicle, but there were no injuries, he said.
Arson was not believed to be a factor, as the vehicle was recently driven before catching fire, Manroe said.
