Authorities Tuesday publicly identified a 59-year-old man who was killed last week in a motorcycle crash on Interstate 8 near San Diego State University.
David Priest of San Diego was riding between slower-moving vehicles shortly before 7 p.m. Friday when his eastbound two-wheeler struck the back of a car near College Avenue and crashed, sending him tumbling onto the roadway, according to the county Medical Examiner’s Office.
Though he was wearing a helmet, Priest died at the scene of the accident, the agency reported.
