All lanes on SR-75 reopened Wednesday evening after first responders prevented a man from jumping off the Coronado Bridge.

According to California Highway Patrol traffic logs, SR-75 lanes were closed in both directions, and traffic was backed up from the I-5 connector due to the incident that began shortly before 4 p.m. Wednesday.

According to the logs, the man, reportedly in his 30s, was coaxed off the bridge railing and taken into custody by authorities around 5:45 p.m. All traffic lanes reopened just after 6 p.m.
