The streak of decreases to the average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County was extended Wednesday to 26 days, but barely, with a drop of one-tenth of a cent to $3.703, its lowest amount since Feb. 10.

The average price has decreased 79 times in the past 86 days, dropping 45 cents, including three-tenths of a cent on Tuesday.

The average price is 2.9 cents less than one week ago, 11.6 cents lower than one month ago and 21.4 cents below what it was one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
