A freshman softball pitching phenom leads a large group of Point Loma High School athletes on recently announced spring All-League sports teams.
Remy Spangler was named Western League Pitcher of the Year after the first of what promises to be four seasons in a Pointer uniform. Spangler was instrumental in leading the Pointers to a league championship and state regional playoffs.
Sophomore Ella Poulin, the other half of the Pointers’ dominating mound duo, was named Field Player of the Year for her work at third base when not pitching.
