After starting the season 3-4, the San Diego Toreros men’s basketball team has now dropped eight of their last nine games, the most recent being a 81-54 blowout loss to Oregon State Saturday in Corvallis.
San Diego ended the first half on a 10-0 run to pull within five heading into the break, but the second half shooting from the Beavers was too much to overcome.

Oregon State shot over 60% from the field in the second half, compared to just over 20% from San Diego.
The Beavers had four players score in double figures, led by Michael Rataj who scored 18 points on 5-9 shooting.
Tony Duckett led the Toreros in scoring with 12 points.
The road does not get any easier for San Diego, as the road trip continues with a trip to Spokane to play Gonzaga. The game will tip off at 7 p.m. PST on ESPN+.
