San Diego State, USC, Georgetown and St. Joseph’s will play in the Paycom Wooden Legacy tournament in the fall, organizers have announced.
The matchups will be revealed this summer for the tournament, to take place at the Anaheim Convention Center from Nov. 25-26.
Three of the participants played in the 2021 NCAA men’s basketball tournament.
USC reached the Elite 8, while San Diego State and Georgetown lost in the first round.
St. Joseph’s had a 5-15 record, but won four of its last five games.
Two of this year’s four teams, USC and SDSU, won the Wooden Legacy, the Aztecs in 2013 and the Trojans in 2007.
San Diego State has a 5-1 record in two appearances in the event since it shifted from the Wooden Classic to the Wooden Legacy in 2013. SDSU will compete in the event for the third time since it went to its current tournament format and sixth time overall.
