San Diego State rose in both the Associated Press Top 25 and the Coaches Poll, despite not playing the previous week.
The Aztecs, at 10-0, ranked at No. 20 in both polls. They are one of two undefeated teams – along with Auburn – on both lists. Auburn ranked at No. 12 on the AP poll and No. 9 in the Coaches Poll.
Kansas, Gonzaga and Louisville top the AP list. In the Coaches Poll, the top two remain the same, with Duke taking the No. 3 spot.
San Diego State returns to action at 7 p.m. Wednesday at home at Viejas Arena against San Diego Christian. This weekend, they make their way to Los Angeles for the Basketball Hall of Fame Classic at Staples Center. They play Utah at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
In their last game, the Aztecs edged out San Jose State 59-57.
