Fans can vote online for Fernando Tatis Jr., the San Diego Padres’ nominee for Major League Baseball’s  Hank Aaron Award.

The Padres rookie shortstop electrified fans despite missing nearly half the season due to injury. He hit .317 with 22 homers, 53 RBI’s and 16 stolen bases.

The award honors Aaron, who broke Babe Ruth’s all-time home run record in 1974. It goes to each league’s best offensive producer.

One player represents each National League team.  Other nominees in the NL West include Cody Bellinger of the Los Angeles Dodgers, Ketel Marte of the Arizona Diamondbacks, Nolan Arenado of the Colorado Rockies and Kevin Pillar of the San Francisco Giants.

Voting continues through Wednesday. The winners will be revealed during the World Series, which begins Oct. 22.
