The reigning World Series champs, the Boston Red Sox, come to Petco Park Friday for inter-league play and the Padres say fans still can find tickets.

Seats are available, mostly in the upper deck, for each game of the series, with the most availability on Sunday. Prices start at $25.50.

Promotions for the weekend include Friday’s Beer Fest, Saturday’s Sky Blast and Sunday’s Greek Heritage Day and “Swingin’ Friar Book” giveaway for youngsters.

The games start at 7:10 p.m. Friday, 5:40 p.m. Saturday and 1:10 p.m. Sunday.

The Red Sox, one of baseball’s powers, are typically a big draw on the road. The team, featuring last year’s American League MVP Mookie Betts, are in third place in the AL East and fourth in the wild-card race.

The Padres, in fourth place in National League West, will play the first-place Los Angeles Dodgers – featuring MVP candidate Cody Bellinger – to conclude the brief six-game home stand.
