Farmers Insurance, title sponsor of the Farmers Insurance Open since 2010, has signed a seven-year extension of its sponsorship through 2026.
The announcement was made at Torrey Pines Golf Course on Tuesday in advance of the 67th playing of the tournament.
“We are extremely grateful for the strong support of Farmers and its active role as title sponsor, and we are excited by the commitment Farmers has made to continue sponsorship of the Farmers Insurance Open for an additional seven years,” said Jay Monahan, PGA Tour commissioner.
Mike Linton, chief marketing officer of Los Angeles-based Farmers, said that “sponsorship of the Farmers Insurance Open makes sense for our customers, our brand and the many charitable organizations that are helped as a result of the tournament.”
In partnership with Farmers, the nonprofit Century Club of San Diego has contributed more than $20 million to organizations benefiting at-risk youth since 2010.
