The San Diego Padres have canceled pregame activities at Park at the Park Sunday due to anticipated inclement weather, but “every effort” will be made to hold a Little League Day parade.
Postgame Kids Run the Bases activities have also been canceled.
Small umbrellas that fit inside a purse or small tote bag will be permitted inside Petco Park Sunday because of the forecast of rain. No larger umbrellas, including golf umbrellas, are allowed inside the stadium.
In the event of inclement weather that poses a safety risk, fans can go to any of the stadium’s covered concourses, as well as indoor restaurants, which are open to all fans.
Tickets for the game against the Los Angeles Dodgers are not refundable or exchangeable in advance based upon anticipated weather conditions. If the game is postponed and rescheduled due to weather, tickets will be valid for the same seats for the rescheduled game.
Additional information about the Padres rain ticket policy is available on the team’s website, padres.com.
The Padres had been scheduled to conduct their first Domingos Padres celebration of the 2017 season Sunday, along with their customary Sunday KidsFest and autograph signings.
