The Brigham Young and Wyoming football teams will make separate visits to the San Diego Zoo Sunday, three days before they play in the Poinsettia Bowl at Qualcomm Stadium.
Both teams will practice before the zoo visit — Brigham Young at Southwestern College in Chula Vista and Wyoming at Mesa College in Clairemont. Brigham Young conducted a short practice session on Saturday, then met with its fans at Embarcadero Marina Park for a FanFest in its first full day in the city.
The Cowboys were greeted by bowl officials and serenaded by mariachis as they arrived at their hotel, the Marriott Marquis Marina in downtown San Diego, on Saturday, then practiced.
The teams will simultaneously visit SeaWorld on Monday and make a joint visit to the USS Midway Museum on Tuesday for the annual team luncheon.
