The Chargers halted a three-game skid against the Denver Broncos, winning 21-13 at Qualcomm Stadium Thursday night. The win brings San Diego to 2-4 while Denver falls to 4-2.

Phillip Rivers threw for 178 yards on 18-29 with one touchdown. That TD belonged to Tight End Hunter Henry, his second of the season. RB Melvin Gordon added 94 yards on 27 carries as well.

Kicker Josh Lambo finished the night with a fantastic line, kicking four field goals on four tries as well as not missing his PAT.

Though San Diego had blown two double-digit leads in the fourth quarter so far this season, they didn’t let it happen again this time. With a 19-3 lead at the end of the third, they would allow a touchdown and a field goal but it would be enough for the win. They added a safety as well.

It’s easily the most impressive win of the season so far for the Bolts after defeating the Jaguars on September 18th. They take on the Falcons next Sunday in Atlanta.
