The Los Angeles Lakers will return to San Diego Oct. 19 for a preseason game against the Golden State Warriors, despite last year’s game at Valley View Casino Center between the two teams being stopped by the referees in the third quarter due to moisture on the floor.
Tickets for the game will go on sale at 10 a.m. May 16 at axs.com or by phone at (888) 9-AXS-TIX. They are priced at $30, $45, $75 and $105.
Group seating for groups of 15 or more is available by calling (619) 363- 5330 or emailing Jen@JDCgroupMarketing.com.
Full refunds were given for tickets to last year’s game.
The Lakers are coached by Luke Walton, a University of San Diego High School graduate.
The Lakers have annually scheduled a preseason game in San Diego each year since 1999 through 2012, except in 2013 when their two preseason games in China left them unable to play in San Diego, according to John Black, the team’s vice president of public relations.
