There had been rumors about the Bolts dealing the top pick, but after the top two picks both traded hands, talks cooled down, and according to head coach Mike McCoy, the phones weren’t ringing quite as often.

The last time San Diego held a top 3 pick, it took quarterback Eli Manning, but traded him to the New York Giants in the deal that brought QB Phillip Rivers to America’s Finest City.

The Bolts are expected by most experts to take on of three players – either offensive lineman Laremy Tunsil, defensive lineman Deforest Buckner, or defensive back Jalen Ramsey.

The Chargers will be on the clock a little after the first round of the Draft begins at 5 p.m. PST on Thursday afternoon.
