The San Diego Padres sent relief pitcher Nick Vincent to the Seattle Mariners Wednesday for a player to be named later, the team announced.

Vincent, 29, has spent his entire career with the Padres since he was drafted in the 18th round of the 2008 MLB amateur draft.

Vincent is 9-6 with a 2.63 era in 150.2 innings on the mound since his debut in 2012.

In 2015, Vincent had a 2.35 era and 22 strikeouts in 26 games.

Vincent was born in Poway, Calif. and attended California State University, Long Beach before he declared for the MLB draft.
