Kyle Bonis, the Gulls fourth-line left wing, opened the scoring 3:48 into the second period with his third goal of the season. Chris Mueller scored his eighth goal of the season 55 seconds later.

Center Kyle MacKinnon, playing his fifth game with the Gulls, scored his first goal of the season at 6:23 of the second period. Defenseman Stefan Elliott scored a power-play goal for Milwaukee, the Nashville Predators American Hockey League affiliate, at 12:42 of the second period.

Bonis scored an empty net goal with 1:27 left in the third period, matching his goal-scoring total for the previous 24 games. The Gulls, the Anaheim Ducks AHL affiliate, were held scoreless on their two power-play opportunities, with one of their power-play chances coming in the game’s final seven seconds. They are two for 20 on the power play in their last six games.

The Admirals were one for three on the power-play before a crowd announced at 8,560. The Gulls will next play Wednesday at Valley View Casino Center against the Bakersfield Condors, the Edmonton Oilers AHL affiliate.
