If the San Diego Chargers decide to move in with the Los Angeles Rams in Inglewood, then it is “viable” that the Oakland Raiders could move to San Diego, according to an ESPN source.
The Chargers and Rams are in discussions about a possible partnership in Inglewood and are likely to come to a decision over the next several weeks, according to the report.
The Raiders, like the Chargers, are in a state of flux as far as their long-term future is concerned after the Carson stadium project was passed over for Stan Kroenke’s Inglewood project.
They are expected to remain in Oakland in 2016, but are on a year-to-year lease with their current stadium.
The Chargers have until March 23 to decide whether they will play in Los Angeles or San Diego in 2016.
