The San Diego Chargers may get a boost in their receiving corps for Thursday night’s game against the Oakland Raiders as Stevie Johnson is questionable to return after missing the last two games with a groin injury.
Johnson injured the groin in the team’s loss to the Denver Broncos on Dec. 6. He was able to practice on a limited basis in all three of the team’s practices this week.
Unlike Johnson, left tackle King Dunlap has no chance of returning Thursday from his ankle injury and will miss his ninth game of the season.
The team signed Dunlap to a four-year $28 million contract in the offseason, but a concussion and an ankle injury have limited him to playing just seven games this season.
Also listed as out is linebacker Kyle Emanuel with a concussion and defensive tackle Sean Lissemore with a shoulder injury.
Tight end Ladarius Green did not practice Tuesday or Wednesday but was able to practice on a limited basis Monday and is listed as questionable with an ankle injury.
Green played through the ankle injury last week and caught two passes for 13 yards.
