The San Diego Chargers released their Week 1 depth chart Tuesday as they prepare for their season-opener against the Detroit Lions this Sunday at Qualcomm Stadium.
There are not too many surprises, as the team rolled out a similar depth chart throughout the preseason.
Joe Barksdale is listed as the starting right tackle with D.J. Fluker at right guard. Fluker moving to right guard had been rumored throughout the offseason, but he was finally forced over there once Johnnie Troutman broke his arm during the preseason.
The newcomers that are listed as starters heading into Week 1 are running back Melvin Gordon, wide receiver Stevie Johnson, kicker Josh Lambo, kick returner/punt returner Jacoby Jones and left guard Orlando Franklin.
Second-year linebacker Jerry Attaochu is listed as a starting outside linebacker opposite of Melvin Ingram after missing most of last season with injuries.
