Longtime San Diego Chargers radio color analyst Hank Bauer will not be apart of the broadcast team for the 2015 season, Fox Sports reported on Saturday.

The move to let Bauer go came from the team’s flagship radio station XTRA 1360 AM and Clear Channel Media, not the team itself, according to the Fox Sports report.

Bauer played for the Chargers as a fullback and special teamer from 1977-82, and has been with the team as a radio color analyst since 1998. He was also a special teams coach for the Bolts from 1983-86.

In 2014 Bauer was suspended for a preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals for using a Jewish stereotype on-air during the previous preseason game against the San Francisco 49ers.

The team and radio station have not yet indicated who Bauer’s replacement might be.
