Cal State San Marcos will be awarding free admission to retired and active military members, and their families, to the school’s men’s and women’s basketball games this Saturday in honor of its military appreciation night.
Both teams will be playing Northern New Mexico, with the women tipping off at 5:30 p.m., and the men tipping off at 7:30 p.m. Both games will be held at Mira Costa College.
All retired and active military, along with their families will get into the games for free with a military I.D.
CSUSM’s men’s team is currently ranked No. 2 in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Top-25 poll , and they have been ranked in the top five for 17 consecutive polls.
It’s been a while since they last played, though, their last game was a 93-59 blowout win against Menlo on Jan. 10.
The men’s team holds a 2-0 record over Northern New Mexico, both wins coming last season.
