The Chargers announced Thursday that their 2014 season home opener against the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks is a virtual sellout.
The Chargers are set to face the Seahawks Sept. 14. The only other way to attend is to purchase a suite, and very few of those remain, according to the team.
The San Diego plays its final exhibition game Thursday night against the Arizona Cardinals at Qualcomm Stadium. In a scheduling quirk, the Chargers open the regular season on the road against the very same Cardinals.
