Overview: San Diego Pride

The two-day festival brings multiple music stages, community resources and queer-owned businesses together inside Balboa Park along Sixth Avenue and Laurel Street from noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday, July 19 with Kehlani as headliner and from noon to 9 p.m. on Sunday, July 20 with Kim Petras as headliner.

Feeling proud? If you’re ready to celebrate, there’s plenty to do and see over the next few days as San Diego Pride has its busiest week of the year.

Among the events to check out:

Pride Yoga and Dance Party

The San Diego Symphony and Fit Athletic will host an all-levels yoga class led by Viktoria Talbot followed by a dance party on Wednesday, July 16 at The Rady Shell. Doors open at 6 p.m. Registration for the free even is required at theshell.org

San Diego Pride
Hundreds of contingents will once again march through Hillcrest to Balboa Park, exemplifying the diversity of the LGBTQ+ community in the largest parade in the region from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 19. Light up the Cathedral 

The interfaith Pride service hosted by St. Paul’s Episcopal Cathedral (2728 Sixth Ave.) is celebrating its 10 year anniversary and presenting the Light of Pride award to outgoing Metropolitan Community Church Pastor Dan Koeshall from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16. sdpride.org/lightup

Pride Artisan Market

Head to Alma Hotel’s fourth floor rooftop pool (1047 Fifth Ave.) for an artisan market from local LGBTQ+ owned or friendly vendors from 1 to 5 p.m. on Friday, July 18. A paid Keith Haring-inspired “paint and sip” class will also be offered from 1 to 4 p.m. stayalma.com/offers/pride-artisan-market/

Spirit of Stonewall Rally 

The annual rally by the Hillcrest Pride Flag centers LGBTQ+ activism in honor of the 1969 riots by honoring local leaders with speakers addressing top issues facing the community at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 18. Pride flag raising at 7 p.m. sdpride.org/rally-2025

Pride 5k 

Presented by Front Runners and Walkers, the Pride 5k takes place at 8 a.m. on Saturday, July 19 along the parade route and is open to runners, walkers, prancers and skippers. Registration is $54 and benefits The Center’s Youth Housing Project and Pride’s community grants. frwsd.org/pride5k

Le Parties Sunday pool parties

Le Parties closes out Pride weekend with Haus of Splash and Lez Get Wet with DJs by the pool from 1 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, July 20 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Mission Valley (7450 Hazard Center Drive). Tickets start at $44. leparties.com/events.
