Former Sen. Barbara Boxer’s political action committee has released a video ad targeting Rep. Darrell Issa almost a year before the 2018 Congressional primary.

PAC for a Change released “Darrell-iction” as part of its “Resist and Replace” campaign targeting House Republicans who voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act.

Boxer founded the PAC to help Democrats regain control of the House of Representatives and Senate in 2018 and has raised $1.3 million so far.

“The Trump Administration is threatening the health, prosperity and civil rights of the American people, and too many Republicans in Congress are voting in lockstep with Trump,” said Boxer. “We need to replace out-of-touch House Republicans who vote against the interests of their constituents.”

The 30-second ad will appear on social media and a variety of websites.

Democrats need  to gain 24 seats in order to take back the House, and seven of those targeted are in California.

Issa represents north coastal San Diego county and south Orange county.
