The Port of San Diego is inviting San Diegans to attend an open house to learn about an updated master plan covering 6,000 acres of waterfront.
The event is scheduled for 6 p.m. on Thursday, May 11, at the National City Aquatic Center, 3300 Goesno Place in National City.
Citizens will be briefed on the goals for each planning district, including transportation and economic development. The Board of Port Commissioners first saw the plan on April 27.
Port Chairman Robert “Dukie” Valderrama will kick off the event and light refreshments will be served.
