Two members of the San Diego Regional Water Quality Control Board were reappointed Monday by Gov. Jerry Brown.

Tomas Morales of San Diego is the principal at Morales Legal, and was previously a partner at Golub and Morales LLP. The 51-year-old Democrat has served for three years on the board that develops water quality objectives and enforces state rules.

Gary Strawn, 68, has served on the panel for four years. The Santee resident, who is registered decline-to-state, is a retired engineering consultant and a former program manager at United Technologies Hamilton Sundstrand.

The positions require Senate confirmation. Compensation is $100 per diem.
