In the hoopla that surrounds the Democratic and Mainstream Media’s joy at the elevation of Kamala Harris as the presumptive Presidential nominee of the Democratic Party, the greatest scandal in modern political history has occurred.
The current President of the United States, Joseph Biden, saw his own political party rebel against his candidacy due to old age and mental incapacity as shown in his debate with former President Donald Trump. Yet, Biden still holds the hardest, most taxing job in the world.
Common sense dictates that if you can’t run for President, you cannot remain President of the United States.
The majority of the American people believe that the Democratic Party covered up Biden’s rapidly declining cognitive and physical abilities. While Biden’s performance at the debate may have “surprised” the Democratic Party establishment, voters have silently questioned the President’s capabilities for years. When he did appear in public, he often appeared confused on stage, had trouble going off script, pronouncing his words, and even remembering world leaders’ names.
In February 2024, Special Counsel Robert Hur released an executive summary of President Biden’s interview with him regarding the mishandling of classified documents. Hur concluded that no charges be brought against Biden because in front of a jury, the President would come across as “a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”
The Democratic Party and most media thought they could pull one over on the American people. They ignored Biden’s physical decline and supported his reelection because they believed he was the only Democrat who could defeat Donald Trump. Only when that belief sank after his debate performance did the Democratic Party choose to oust Biden. They were not bothered by ignoring the 14 million voters who cast their ballots for Biden in state primaries.
San Diego Congressional Democrats Scott Peters and Mike Levin led the charge to subvert the primary process by asking Biden to stand down, while keeping him in office. They ignored the votes of millions of Americans to engage in cold-blooded political opportunism that would make Frank Underwood blush.
Let me be clear: Peters and Levin called for Biden to stop his run because they believed he could not win. They calculated that Biden would cost Democrats the White House and Congress. Peters and Levin have always been, and continue to be, partisan politicians who put their party above our country’s best interests. Why else did they ignore what the rest of us saw for years?
We are at only the beginning of unraveling the coverup. So far, we know that President Biden works only on weekdays from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. His staff blamed his debate performance because it was after 9 p.m. (Hopefully, Vladimir Putin respects the President’s bedtime). Biden is effectively a part-time President.
Peters and Levin personally saw and interacted with Biden. The American people already questioned Biden’s ability to do his job then — how could these two congressmen not notice?
The same standard applies even more so to Vice President Kamala Harris. One of her two Constitutional duties is to replace the President if he is unable to fulfill the responsibilities of his office. Harris lunches weekly with Biden and touts their close relationship. Both claim that Harris is the last one in the room when Biden makes big decisions (e.g. the Afghanistan surrender). Are we supposed to believe that what the American people saw for years only became clear to Harris after the debate?
Whether it be President Biden’s failing cognitive and physical abilities, or soaring prices in San Diego and across our country, American voters hate being told that their lived experience isn’t reality. Yet, that is exactly what Democrats have been doing the last three and half years. The images and video of Biden floundering on the debate stage could not be spun by Democrats and their acolytes in the media.
Tellingly, it was Democrats who silenced and ridiculed their own Congressman Dean Phillips when he ran for the Democratic nomination on the platform that Biden could not continue as President. President Biden’s family, staff, and party kept his inability to serve secret to preserve power.
In 2024, America faces a myriad of domestic and foreign policy challenges. Americans must hold Democrats accountable for their mounting failures in office. With Biden as President, we truly do not know who is in charge. If it is the man we saw on the debate stage, America’s enemies around the world must be giddy. His continued presence in the White House creates more instability.
If Democrats like Harris, Peters and Levin truly believed in putting their country over party, they would call for Biden to resign. Immediately. Americans deserve better than a part-time President.
