Times of San Diego was read by 177,187 different people in October, its seventh full month of operation.
The largest audience segment was people aged 25 to 34, accounting for 22 percent of visits to the site. In fact, a full 66 percent of visits were by people under the age of 55, making Times of San Diego a younger news destination than traditional newspapers and TV.
Readers continued to be local and mobile.
People in the City of San Diego accounted for 34 percent of visits to the site, followed by 16 percent from elsewhere in San Diego County and 7 percent from elsewhere in Southern California. The balance were national and even international.
Smartphones were used for 35 percent of visits to the site, tablets for 14 percent, and desktop and laptop computers combined for 51 percent.
