La Jolla Village News weekly update

Today’s newsletter is presented by addressd.com.

Hello, La Jolla!

Kathleen Bade, former San Diego news anchor

Hello, La Jolla! I’m Kathleen Bade, former San Diego news anchor. You can take the woman off local news, but you can’t take local news out of the woman.

I am forever a supporter and a big believer in the impact that local news has is far more than informational. It turns residents into neighbors and neighbors into communities, and communities make things happen.

That’s why I’m so excited to announce today that you’re going to have more local news as The Times of San Diego expands its coverage into seven local communities to dive deeper into those issues impacting you in your own backyard.

There is nothing that San Diegans take more pride in than being locals – and that includes our local news.

So read on to find out about what’s happening in La Jolla. You can share story ideas and feedback with the Times of San Diego team at news@timesofsandiego.com, and I hope you’ll consider joining me in supporting nonprofit community news.
