Hello, Navajo and College Area!

Fashion, music, awkward photos — who can forget the biggest event of their teenage years: Prom.

Whether you attended prom all four years or opted out completely, there’s no doubt that prom is the event of the season for high schoolers across the country. In fact, many students and their families spend weeks if not months prepping for the day.

Prom prep can also be an extremely expensive process. In addition to the ticket price, many families end up coordinating tuxedo rentals, corsages and professional makeup artists.

Patrick Henry High School’s prom is just two days away. If you’re feeling the financial strain of prom, or if your child is having second thoughts on their outfit choice, The Princess Project still has appointments available for free prom dresses.

On April 25 at the El Cajon Library, The Princess Project will be continuing its free dress sessions for the 24th year in a row.

By booking a one-hour appointment, your teen will be able to try on dresses and walk away with a free dress and a free accessory.

So good luck to all you prom attendees out there, and to the families who make it all happen.
