Hello, La Mesa!
As many students are headed back to school, we caught up with Kevin Osborn, Helix Charter High School’s executive director.
The La Mesa school started classes late last week with approximately 2,550 students enrolled this school year.
Osborn said some renovations were completed over the summer to teacher, staff and student workspaces to help with teacher collaboration and student study groups.
The sustainability career and technical education pathway is starting this year, and internship classes have been developed.
