San Diego will honor its military veterans on Monday with the traditional parade along the embarcadero downtown.
The hour-long parade starts at 10 a.m. near the County Administration Building on Harbor Drive and continues south to Seaport Village.
It is considered the largest Veterans Day parade on the West Coast, and thousands are expected to line the route. Organizers suggest taking public transportation.
Mayor Todd Gloria and D-Day veterans Clayton B. Baum and Joseph Wilson will serve as the parade’s grand marshals.
The parade will be live-streamed by NBC San Diego for those who cannot attend in person.
