Mu Beta Phi Military Fraternity Inc., an international professional fraternity for U.S. veterans, is hosting a community service social, veteran’s awards gala, and other events in the San Diego area during the organization’s national leadership conference from April 21-23.
The fraternity is composed of 14 chapters worldwide, mobilizing hundreds of U.S. service members to “serve their local communities outside of uniform.
During the pandemic, Mu Beta Phi Military Fraternity Inc., participated in various community service projects including the distribution of PPE across the U.S., combatting poverty by serving meals to at-risk individuals within five states, assistance in the construction of housing, and distribution of clothing throughout 14 states, and assisted in gathering supplies for Afghan refugees in 2021.
The efforts of the fraternity during the organization’s “Day of Service” campaign, which mobilized more than 275 veterans to participate in a synchronized community service project across 13 states, helped Mu Beta Phi win the Professional Fraternity Association 2021 most outstanding community service award.
