Join Rep. Scott Peters, admissions counselors from each service academy, and representatives from college ROTC programs to learn about the service academy application process on be Monday, Oct. 15.

Students and parents will hear and obtain first-hand knowledge from service academy liaisons, ROTC admissions officers, and staff members from Rep. Peters’ San Diego office about the nomination process.

On hand will be representative from the these five service academies :

Members of Congress may nominate up to 10 individuals to each academy every academic year.  An individual must meet the admissions requirements of the academy and receive a nomination to be offered an appointment to the academy. Students selected for a nomination are normally notified during January or February.

The event will take place at  Veterans Museum at Balboa Park, 2115 Park Blvd, San Diego, CA 92101 at 6 p.m.
