Traveling as fast as 700 miles an hour, the McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornets seem to smooch for a split millisecond.

They pass each other like bullets shot by dueling gunslingers.

The Navy Blue Angels flight demonstration team again hit its mark Saturday, thundering low and exploding high under partly cloudy skies.

Marine Corps Air Station Miramar again drew tens of thousands to see what organizers call the world’s largest military air show, which concludes Sunday. Gates open at 8 a.m. The Blue Angels go at 2:05 p.m.
