Team members of the still-new-to-town San Diego Gulls got a look at the city’s marine aviation team during a tour of Marine Corps Air Station Miramar on Monday.
Members of the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing showed off F/A-18 fighter jets, a V-22 Osprey and a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter.
“Had a great time checking out the Marine Corps Air Station Miramar with the guys today,” tweeted winger Nick Kerdiles.
The American Hockey League affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks has 19 wins and 17 losses so far this season. Their next game is Friday at Valley View Casino Center.
