The Navy on Friday warned residents near Naval Base San Diego and across the bay in Coronado to be prepared for unusual noise and activity next week.
Naval Base San Diego is conducting a training exercise in the vicinity of the Navy piers between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. from Monday through Friday.
The Navy said the training will involved realistic simulations for first responders on and near the base’s piers on San Diego Bay.
A week later, Nov. 16-20, a large-scale anti-terrorism and force protection exercise is scheduled on the base.
